Well its been a moist two days, hasn't it teens? And I hear its sticking around for at least one more day. What have you been doing to keep yourself busy when you can't go to the beach or do other outside stuff that needs nicer weather? Miss G has been watching tv and movies, playing video games, cleaning her house, and of course, reading! Here are some more rainy day ideas though~
- Use the video camera on your cell phone to make a movie/short
- Bake or cook something delicious
- Play a board game with friends or siblings
- Put on your boots and go jump in puddles (take a warm shower after, or have some hot chocolate!)
- Put together a jigsaw puzzle
- Watch a movie with one of your favorite actors that you haven't seen yet
- Play cards - there are so many different card games you can play! Check out a book from the library on them, or research some new ones on the internet. One of my faves as a teen was called "Pig" Bonus points to anyone who can find out what that is!
- Give up on the card games and instead see who can build the biggest house of cards
- Learn a new craft like beading, wood burning, knitting, knot tying, or DIY clothing!
- Get together all your old newspapers, magazines, colored paper, stickers, and whatever else and make a collage
- Get out your legos and build fantastic buildings or landscapes. Make a story up about them or use your camera to make a stop animation film!
