Movie Monday: Uglies

I haven't read this book in so long!  I am for sure going to have to reread it cause I remember liking it a lot.  For some reason I never read the rest of the series too.  So yes, all that goes on my To-Read list.  Anyhoo...

The Book
Just before their sixteenth birthdays, when they will will be transformed into beauties whose only job is to have a great time, Tally's best friend runs away and Tally must find her and turn her in, or never become pretty at all.
20th Century Fox and producer John Davis (Eragon...shudder) bought the rights for the film and it may come out sometime this year.  It's supposed to...but not a lot of news on it so far.    So who do you think should play Tally?  How do you think people will look as uglies and as pretties?  Are you excited for this movie?
