Teen Book Review - A Dog's Purpose

A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron - FIC CAM

This review is from Emily, age 13.  Emily says that this book is fiction and realistic fiction with a twist.  She gave it a 9/10.  (Nice!)  Her favorite character was Ethan.  She said "It was awesome if you have a dog.  But just in general if you like animals, you will enjoy this book.  The reason that I didn't like it was because his first life seemed pointless even after reading the 2nd book." (You still gave it a 9 thou, so it musta been pretty good anyway!)  About the cover of the book she had this to say, "It was cute but it didn't tell alot about the book."  Emily said that she would read more from this author and her last words were "You always forget that the main character is a dog which helps to relate to the story."

Emily received an extra raffle ticket in this week's Teen Summer Reading Raffle.  If you would like to get an extra ticket this week too, come by and fill out a book review form!

Teen Book Review - A Dogs Journey

A Dog's Journey by W. Bruce Cameron - FIC CAM

This review is from Emily, age 13.  Emily says that this book is realistic fiction.  She gave it a 10/10.  (Wow, I'm glad you loved it!)  Her favorite characters were CJ and Trent. She said "At the end of each chapter he left you with a cliff hanger, which is what the author is supposed to do.  And the story is told from a dog's point of view."  (Neat, I love animal stories too!)  About the cover of the book she had this to say, "It's super cute!  That is one of the reasons I read it!" Emily said that she would read more from this author and her last words were "Make sure to read A Dog's Purpose first!" Great advice Emily!
