Teen Book Review - Shane

Shane by Jack Schaefer

 This review is from Catherine, age 15.  Catherine says that this book is fiction and a classic western.  She gave it a 9/10.  (Nice!)  Her favorite character was Shane. (of course!)  She said "This book is full of intrigue and emotion.  I found myself really attached to the characters, plus, the main character, Shane, is totally mysterious and HOT!" (mysterious loner gunman in the west are almost always HOT.)  About the cover of the book she had this to say, "The cover I got was cool, but, not the movie cover."  Catherine said that she might read more from this author and her last words were "It's an old classic so don't expect a new type of book."  Well, sometimes that's exactly what you want to read, nothing wrong with that!
