Movie Monday: Delirium

Happy Monday YAs!  It's time for Movie Monday!  Your little sneak peak into the movies that may be/are being made from YA books~

The Book:

 

Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Lena looks forward to receiving the government-mandated cure that prevents the delirium of love and leads to a safe, predictable, and happy life, until ninety-five days before her eighteenth birthday and her treatment, when she falls in love.

OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS I LOVE THIS BOOK.  Most of you know me and know that I love a good dystopia especially with some romance mixed in.  The idea of this story is so unique, I grabbed it as soon as I heard about it.  I'm sitting here trying to think about what I could type to tell you how awesome this book it, but I'm really having a hard time soooo.... Just read it.  :)

What we know about the Movie:

Not much.  It's been optioned by Fox, which basically means that Fox bought the right to make this movie.  The movie has a stub page on IMDB but no real info.  So share!  What would be your dream cast for this movie?  Who for Lena?  Who for Alex?

Also, isn't it weird that two weeks in a row that the main character is named Lena?
