Yesterday we had our Teen Book Club meeting. This month we read Life as We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer. We used these discussion questions...

But we also did something a little different this month...we listened to the book on audio. We were split 3 to 2 on who didn't like the audiobook and who didn't mind it.
Anyway, we ran kind of short on time at the meeting, but here are our ratings...
Clare gave the audiobook a 6, but the book itself an 8. She said it comes across better reading rather than listening to it. It's worth reading, but not listening to it.
Melanie gave it a 6.
Hannah gave it a 7.5
Catherine did not finish it, but plans on reading the book sometime in the future.
Miss G gives the audiobook a 7, but the book itself a 9.
Next month we are reading Delirium by Lauren Oliver
Lena looks forward to receiving the government-mandated cure that prevents the delirium of love and leads to a safe, predictable, and happy life, until ninety-five days before her eighteenth birthday and her treatment, when she falls in love.
Books will be available at the front desk. Meeting and snack on Tuesday, February 26th 6:30-7:30.
