Teen Advisory Group March Meeting

Hey YAs, the TAG had its March meeting this past Saturday.  Here is what we discussed~

After our next meeting in April we will make and put up some spring decorations in the YA area.  Origami flowers was suggested.  Also, Miss Gardiner handed out cards with the web address of her Pinterest board where she gathers ideas for the library.  She invites everyone to check it out and let her know which ideas are your favorite.  You can see Miss G's Pinterest board here:

Miss Gardiner then went over the planned programs for this summer's reading program.  Theyre still a secret from you guys thou!  If you want to get in on the early information, come to the meetings!  We talked about ideas for raffle prizes this year and the suggestions discussed were:

• beach towels
• six flags or lake compounce tickets
• movies
• Dari Serv gift certificates
• snack baskets
• movie tickets
• class coupons
• Kindle
• books

Next, Miss Gardiner talked about the library's new website and encouraged everyone to take a close look at it when they have time and get back to her with any suggestions on how to improve it.  Specifically asked for already was a program photos page.  Any additional suggestions or comments can be emailed to MissG at kgardiner@durhamlibrary.org

Last, we made plans for April's murder mystery program and I am DEFINITELY not giving away any clues here.  I'll just say, its going to be AWESOME.
