Happy birthday to Michael Cera~

Time for a little switch up, adding in some celebrity birthdays to my line up so we can showcase some of their excellent movies in our library's collection!  Today is Michael Cera's birthday and you can watch his acting skills in...

For 15 years Elizabeth struggled to make a good life for herself and her sons following her husband Patrick's tragic, apparent suicide. Hard work and determination paid off and she had become a pillar of her community. Then a letter came to her home with information that Patrick might still be alive. Her extensive search revealed that he was enjoying life in another state with a wife and children. Based on a true story.
Growing up in Saitter, Louisiana, in the 1950s, twelve-year-old Tiger Ann struggles with her feelings about her stern, but loving grandmother, her mentally slow parents, and her good friend and neighbor, Jesse. (Michael Cera plays Jesse)
In a quest to lose their virginity at the big party before college starts, Seth, Evan, and Fogell attempt to buy liquor with a fake ID and end up getting chased by incompetent cops throughout the night. (MC plays Evan)
Juno MacGuff is sixteen years-old who after a one-time sexual encounter with her best friend Paulie, learns that she's pregnant. Juno and Paulie like each other, but not enough to start a family, complete with a child. Paulie leaves all the decisions about the baby to Juno. Initially she decides to have an abortion, but can't go through with it. So she decides to have the baby and give it up for adoption. The next step is to find prospective parents for the yet unborn child. In the Pennysaver ad section, Juno finds Mark and Vanessa Loring, a yuppie couple living in the suburbs. Juno likes the Lorings and of her own choosing, she enters into a closed adoption contract with the Lorings. During the second and third trimesters of Juno's pregnancy, which she treats with care but detachment, her relationships with her family, with Paulie, and with the Lorings develop. (MC plays Paulie)
Two teenagers meet in a chance encounter at a club in New York City and spend an evening together trying to find the concert location of a band they both enjoy. (also a book, yaaaay!)
Tribal nitwits, Zed and Oh, are two guys living in the year one. Neither one can hunt nor gather, so they are thrown out of their Neanderthal community and dung-and-stick huts. Zed eats the forbidden fruit and the two become curious about what may lay outside of their limited little world. They decide to embark on a journey through the ancient world. On their travels they meet Cain and Abel, Abraham and Isaac. They wind up in Sodom where their girlfriends have been turned into slaves and are about to be sacrificed by the high priest. (MC plays Oh)
While trying to win the heart of a beautiful girl, a teenage boy develops a smooth-talking and rebellious alter ego.

So, celebrate MC's birthday by coming in and borrowing one of the movies he is in!  Happy birthday Michael!
