Teen Advisory Group January Meeting Notes

Hey YAs,

The Teen Advisory Group met on Saturday for our January meeting.  We had cookies and talked about stuff!

First we discussed ideas for the 2014 Summer Reading Program.  The theme this year is "Spark a Reaction."  Here are the ideas that got thrown out there~

• Sparklers
• Spicy Food (teen cuisine)
• Rockets
• Chemical reactions
• Potions class
• Steampunk
• Make icecream
• Play with zapping ball (shock hot potato)
• Glow in the Dark party

And here are the ideas we have for prizes!

• Movie Tickets
• Amazon gift card
• Portable speakers
• Dance lesson
• Camping kit
• Gamestop giftcard
• a cheap tablet computer like the Tab Nero
• iPod shuffle
• movies
• iTunes giftcard

 Then we did some brainstorming of ideas for the Valentine's Day Murder Mystery.  Won't tell you the details here, cause that would ruin the mystery!  You'll just have to come to the program and figure out who done it for yourself!
