This Wednesday, March 12th, we will be showing Catching Fire at 3:30 downstairs in the library for teens after school. Ages 13&up, popcorn and beverages will be provided.

Afterschool movies in the library!
Today is the first day we are showing a movie afterschool in the library! We will be showing a movie every Wednesday at 3:30 in October all but one Wednesday in November! Here are the movies we are showing~
Oct. 2 (today) - Oz the Great and Powerful
Oct. 9th - Wreck it Ralph
Oct. 16th - Iron Man 3
Oct. 23rd - Warm Bodies
Oct. 30th - The Grudge
Nov. 6th - After Earth
Nov 20th - The Hunger Games
Nov. 27th - Man of Steel (2:00 due to early dismissal from schools)
Popcorn will also be served!

First Day of Fall!
It's the first day of Fall! Pretty falling leaves, the Durham Fair, Halloween, apples, pumpkins, and Thanksgiving are ALL COMING! What are your plans for Fall? Here is what happening at the library for Teens this October~
Afterschool movies on Wednesdays at 3:30 (Starting in October)

Oct. 23 - World War Z

Nov. 6 - After Earth
Nov. 20 - The Hunger Games
Nov. 27 - Man of Steel
Stop Motion Lego Movies
Wednesday, Oct. 9th 6:00-8:00pm
Stop motion is an animation techiniqe in which you take pictures of something (usually puppets, dolls, or clay figures) and move them slightly for each picture. When teh pictures are played back to back, it created an animated video! We will be making short videos using the library's Lego collection. For a decent example of what could make go to Youtube and view "Lego Camping Troubles Stop Motion Animation" or just search lego stop motion to see more examples!
